Makalani Lua, a magnificent 58-foot cutter-rigged pilothouse motor-sailor, was born out of the visionary mind of movie director Robert Wise back in 1990. From the unique dual Perkins turbo diesels to the multiple electric winches and backup anchors, redundancy is at the core of this amazing vessel. The inclusion of systems such as two GPS receivers, two anchors, four VHF radios and multiple heating methods means that any bluewater adventure can be undertaken with the utmost confidence.
